MAX is an authentic community, pressing
with insolite energy, which comes to life in the hands of the people who live there, work, rejoice, and share a unique experience.

MAX is a place of convergence, where people of different backgrounds and ages coincide in the enjoyment of a space for culture, art, music, and relief.
Part of the vision is the dynamic integration of the programmatic areas throughout the whole, in such a way that someone who lives, works, plays sports or recreates on the site, can circulate continuously between the different moments of their everyday lives.
The mixed use must be developed in a horizontal and vertical way, integrated by common spaces and public access. The curatorship of the spaces and programs, must establish synergies and offer a ‘complete’ experience for users at the same time.
MAX, besides having commerce and housing, has offices, providing us with an efficient and pleasant work area, surrounded by an active environment where the entire building is a green community in which the buildings communicate with each other.
Avoiding the generic environment of an enclosed office, full of corridors and walls, MAX offers us a different office, where everyone coexists in a natural atmosphere and has a program that creates added value to the building and generates a mixed-use environment which provides entertainment and common areas for the employees of those offices, with easy access, and creates a community panorama where a dynamic public that plays a very important role is found. Improving the internal quality of life in the building and its employees’s efficiency to generate better results.
The design concept goes hand in hand with the design principles that were established together; create a city, have predominant green spaces, contemporary, alive, pedestrian, public, interactive and dynamic
The organic shapes of the buildings arise for several reasons: by adapting to the geometries of the treetops and by respecting and integrating with the hills surrounding the site. The intention is for the project to blend in with the nature for which Costa Rica is famous.
The architecture is dynamic and suggestive; inviting and provoking all users live, work and do their shopping and consuming experiences in spaces that stimulate a quality and enriching experience. Always with an interactive connection between exterior and interior.
